PORT MANAGER OUTLINES POTENTIAL PERIL IF ALFA NERO BECOMES STRICKEN IN ANTIGUAN WATERS

Port Manager, Darwin Telemaque explains it is vital that the authorities head off a potential maritime disaster from the Alfa Nero super yacht.
He was speaking with ABS News on Thursday evening, on the heels of Parliament’s approval of a legislative amendment, empowering the Government to auction the vessel if the owner does not step forward.
The owner is reputed to be Russian oligarch Andrey Guryev, though he disavows ties to the luxury vessel, said to be worth up to US$81m.
