Prime Minister Browne Invited To the Republic of Cuba

St. John’s, Antigua – Prime Minister the Hon Gaston Browne has been invited to the Republic of Cuba for an official visit.

The invitation comes from Cuba’s Foreign Minister, Bruno Rodriquez Parrilla, who was in Antigua & Barbuda for the 35th Regular Meeting of the Caricom Heads of Government.

The foreign minister, on behalf of the President of Cuba, Raul Castro Ruz, congratulated Browne on his new position as chairman of Caricom, as well as his recent victory at the polls.

Parrilla also conveyed his president’s intention to strengthen friendly relations and co-operation between Cuba and Antigua & Barbuda.
