REMOTE LEARNING MODE EXTENDED UNTIL APRIL

The Ministry of Education, Sports and Creative Industries (MoESCI) wishes to advise that after thorough consideration of the current situation as it relates to the coronavirus, the Cabinet has approved the further extension of the remote learning mode until April 1st,2021, the end of the second term.

Schools will continue providing instructional sessions
for their students through remote means.
Parents and guardians are also encouraged to ensure that their children are fully participating in the remote facilities offered by their schools.

The Ministry also adds that , schools may schedule in-person instruction for Grade 6 and CXC students to allow them to complete their SBAs and the practical components that are required by some subjects.  Those are to be scheduled to ensure that no more than ten (10) students are on the compound at any given time.

The MoESCI urges all to remain safe as we continue to navigate the challenges that the COVID-19 pandemic presents.
