SENIOR OFFICERS COMPLETE TRAINING COURSE
Over two dozen senior officers in the Police and Correctional services have benefitted from a crucial capacity-building course in leadership.
The 16 Police personnel and one senior Prison Officer graduated from the Sir Wright F. George Police Academy on Friday, having completed a Senior Police\Prison Administrators Course.
The training course honed the skills of the participants in a broad range of areas including corruption in public office, human rights, critical thinking and effective communication.
It was aimed at helping the participants to emerging trends and position them to provide better leadership and quality service.
Both Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Public Safety and Labour, Stacey Gregg-Paige and Police Commissioner Atlee Rodney urged the participants to capitalize on the opportunity for professional development which redounds to the benefit of the country.
