SPUTNIK V ROLLED OUT AT VILLA POLYCLINIC

The Sputnik V vaccine has officially been rolled out in Antigua and Barbuda.  Several people visited the Villa Poly Clinic early Monday to receive the jab. 

Included among those to receive the first dose was President of the Medical Association Dr. Alafea Stevens-Gordon.  According to Stevens-Gordon, she is only now taking the vaccine because she had been previously diagnosed with Covid19.  

After being hospitalized with severe disease, she is encouraging members of the public to also avail themselves of the vaccine. 

The 2^nd dose of Sputnik V is administered 3 weeks after the first dose.
