ST LUCIA RECORDS 89 NEW CASES OF COVID-19

St Lucia’s COVID-19 case count surged by 89 on Friday, pushing active cases to 562. The results came from 356 samples taken between January 21-29. All 89 are St Lucian nationals ranging in age from 8 years to 77 years. They were seen at a community-based respiratory clinic for assessment and tested for COVID-19. The Health Ministry says its contact-tracing team is undertaking investigations to identify the contacts of these confirmed cases.
