State Owned University In Planning

The University of Antigua and Barbuda Committee, established some two years ago, is working feverishly to see the realization of the state providing university level education.

Education Minister, the Hon Jacquie Quinn Leandro is hoping that if given a third term in office, the ruling United Progressive Party (UPP) administration, would make good on the plans for a University of Antigua and Barbuda.

As she points to higher education, the Education Minister, speaks of the need to complete the Learning Resource Center at the Antigua State Collage.
