The Country’s Culinary Delights Showcased On An American Television Network
The recently concluded Caribbean Week in New York seemingly created a lot of international exposure for the twin island state.
Through appearances on several popular broadcasts, representatives of the local delegation did not waste any time in promoting what the country had to offer.
Consultant within the Ministry of Tourism, Shirlene Nibbs and Chef Melvin Myers recently appeared on American broadcast network, CBS.
Nibbs used the opportunity to speak about the country’s hospitality, beaches and unique attractions.
Nibbs also updated international media on the success of the events held as part of the global activity to include the gala dinner featuring Special Envoy, Robert DeNiro.
Chef Myers showcased local dishes.
Tourism Minister, the Hon. Asot Michael led the delegation to Caribbean Week held in New York.
