The Education Minister Commits To Improving Relationship With The Teacher’s Union

A recent fallout between the Minister of Education, the Hon. Michael Browne, and the Antigua and Barbuda Union of Teachers over their representation on the Board of Education has been quelled.

In addition to offering an apology to the union earlier today, Browne is committed to improving his relationship with the body, noting that as a former member of the union, he shares the same passion to see education move forward.

The Antigua and Barbuda Union of Teachers will be hosting an emergency meeting on Thursday where the impasse with the minister is among matters down for discussion.
