The Hon. Arthur Nibbs Says Barbuda Is Up To Date On Payments
Parliamentary Representative for Barbuda, the Hon. Arthur Nibbs, believes 2015 will be a financially stable year for the council on the sister isle.
Nibbs says that if the country is able to pull off a number of major investments and developments, some of the problems that are currently being faced, particularly as it relates to the backlog of payments, will be a thing of the past.
The Barbuda MP, who is also the Minister of Agriculture, Lands and Housing, continued that currently, the council is up-to-date on payments to workers but still have some outstanding balances
He says the country does have a great problem when it comes to resources, and thus, everyone must pull together and form linkages in order move forward.
Nibbs continues that once all goes well, the people of Barbuda will begin to feel the benefits of the relationships forged with various investors.
