“THEY CERTAINLY CAN’T INTIMIDATE ME” – PM BROWNE REACTS TO BARBUDA COUNCIL’S “LAWLESSNESS”
Prime Minister Hon. Gaston Browne says the Barbuda Council is seeking to assert authority over land that they do not have.
He was responding to the council’s action to demolish barriers on the property leased by the operators of the Barbuda Beach Cottages.
The council said access to the beach was being blocked, but owner Kelcina Burton George says this was not the case and has indicated she will be taking legal action against the council.
Prime Minister Browne says the owner, Kelcina Burton George is being targeted because of her political affiliation.
