Five Cameroonians who are now at the centre of a deportation row in Trinidad and Tobago, had first landed in Antigua.
They narrowly managed to avoid being deported from Trinidad, after an injunction was obtained to stop the authorities from deporting them.
That case is being closely monitored by the authorities here in Antigua and Barbuda, as they determine the best course of action in relation to hundreds of nationals of West African countries who are now in the country.
ABS News spoke on Friday with Trinidadian attorney Om Lalla.
He told us the United Nations Refugee Agency has declared all five, a father and his son and three women to be refugees.
