Twin Island State will Host Trade Winds exercise
The twin island state will host this year’s Trade Winds exercise, with a hope of exposing the country’s forces to the region.
The Ministry of National Security has signed off on a new forces agreement between Antigua and Barbuda and the United States of America.
National Security Minister Sen. Errol disclosed that officials from both countries re-negotiated the agreement which was recently signed in Washington by Ambassador Dame Deborah Mae Lovell.
Cort highlighted the significance of this agreement.
The National Security Minister made clear the exercise will be beneficial to the force.
Antigua and Barbuda has hosted the Trade Winds exercise in years past.
