USA CREATES HISTORY IN MAIDEN T20 WORLD CUP

USA have made history by qualifying for the Super Eight stage in their first T20 World Cup appearance.

A wash-out of their game against Ireland in Florida carried the Americans’ tally to 5 points, and a second-place finish behind group A winners India.

Before the wash-out, the USA defeated Canada, upset Pakistan and lost to India.

The result also ensured they automatically qualified for the 2026 T20 World Cup in India and Sri Lanka.
