UWI OFFICIALS PRAISE GOVERNMENT FOR UWI EXPANSION FUNDING

Vice Chancellor of the University of the West Indies, Professor Sir Hilary Beckles and UWI Five Islands Campus Principal, Professor Densil Williams have praised the Gaston Browne administration for its move to bankroll the expansion of the campus.
The Government signed an agreement with the Saudi Development Fund on Tuesday for a concessional loan of US$80M for the project. It is expected to turbo-charge the campus’ development, and drive greater benefits to the country’s economy.
