VAGRANTS APPEAL FOR ASSISTANCE

Some vagrants in this country are requesting additional assistance from the government now that they also have to contend with the new coronavirus.

Meanwhile, Minister for Social Transformation, Hon. Samantha Marshall says discussions will be held to see to whether additional assistance could be provided.
She says the discussions will now be held in light of cabinet’s decision today to further ease curfew restrictions.
She says any such help would be channeled through the Soup Kitchen initiative under her Ministry.
