Bolans Church Service disbanded

Police made an example of the New Testament Church of God in Bolans earlier today as worshippers gathered in defiance of the advice of the authorities to limit numbers at all gatherings.
Police PRO Inspector Frankie Thomas says they received reports that more than 25 persons were in attendance at a service and police intervened.
But irate church members can be heard demanding the officers to cease and desist.
Members came together under the rallying cry of “Touch not the lord’s anointed.”

Their pleas however fell on deaf airs as officers enforced the laws of the land.
Pastor Uriah Taylor and a male member of the congregation were both taken to the Bolans Police Station.
Church members also sought to assemble outside of the police station before being asked to disperse.
Police Investigations into the matter are ongoing.
