Government Strengthens Patrolling In The Nation

Government is taking immediate action to strengthen patrols across Antigua to protect homes and businesses from criminals.

The announcement was made by Acting Prime Minister and Minister of National Securitythe Hon. Steadroy Benjamin in a press release issued on Tuesday.

The release stated that the Head of the Defence Force and the Commissioner of Police are summonedto a meeting,and thatjoint patrols including the Defence Force and the Police will be mounted immediately for an indefinite period.
