Man responsible for Last Lap Shooting Spree Charged with Attempted Murder

Shelton Hunte, 26, of Freeman’s Village was arrested and charged with two counts of Attempted Murder following a shooting incident last Tuesday at the East Bus Station.

Hunte was charged after he allegedly shot and wounded Trevorn Francis, 23, of Greenbay and Judith Wynter, 62, of New Winthropes.

Both victims of the shooting incident are still at the hospital receiving medical treatment.

Following the shooting incident, the police were forced to bring an abrupt end to the Last-Lap street jump-up in the interest of the safety and security of the people in the city.

He is due to appear before the court on Monday
