PM’s Trip To Untied Nations Promises Benefits For the Nation

Prime Minister, the Hon. Gaston Browne, says his recent trip to the United Nations, should reap significant benefits for Antigua & Barbuda.

In an interview with ABS News Monday, the nation’s leader described the trip as very successful. He was engaged in a number of meetings, which also saw the establishment and deepening of existing bilateral relationships.

Prime Minister Browne says that all of the country’s statements were widely received and for the first time carried by an increased number of non- traditional Caribbean media.

Prime Minister Browne says this undoubtedly gave the country a lot of international exposure in the United States.

In addition, the nation’s leader says the recent appointment of veteran hairstylist and beauty consultant, Dr. Dave Ray as the Diaspora Liaison Officer for North America, comes based on requests to strengthen diaspora relations.
