Sembcorp Awaits Details On Payment Plan From APUA

Sembcorp, the company that supplies water to APUA wants the utility company to present a detailed plan on how it intends to liquidate outstanding arrears.

Sembcorp’s Public Relations Officer, Paula Lee, declined to use the term ‘deadline’, but she said Antigua Public Utilities Authority has withinsix months to present a proposal to liquidate the nearly 8 million dollars owed to the water company.

On July 2, Sembcorpincreased its water supply from 3.1 to 3.8 million imperial gallons per day, following a meeting with Prime Minister the Hon.Gaston Browne and the Antigua Public Utilities Authority.
