Sir Lester Bryant Bird Receives His Award of National Hero In A Ceremony At Government House

Antigua and Barbuda formally named its sixth National Hero when Sir Lester Bryant Bird was elevated to the position in a ceremony befitting the honour on Thursday.

It was a fitting tribute to a man whose contributions to nation-building span the social, cultural and political spheres of life.
