Substance abuse update

The Youth in Antigua and Barbuda continue to be the main focus of the Substance Abuse Division’s Education program. Substance Abuse Prevention Officer Norma Jeffery Dorsett says the program has been running smoothly, as individuals are garnering certain skills.

Dorsett says major progress on substance abuse prevention will not be seen over night, as the cases are different and may require different approaches. She adds that the aim of the program is for young people to put an end to drug use.
