The competition has already begun for the ten students taking part in this year’s Source Teen Splash show. Tuesday night saw the preliminaries for the Research Segment which brought together youth from the twelve schools being represented. Under the competition’s theme “Dreams”, the contestants made presentations on various personalities and issues. This year’s contestants include Wole (woo-lay) Barnarde of the St. Joseph’s Academy, Trisha Ghanie – Christ The King High, Zoelyn Rogers and Lenroy George, both of the Jennings Secondary and Audea Knowles, representing the Clare Hall Secondary School. Also competing this year are Ischikelle (Ish-e-kelly) Corbin and André Cordice – of the Princess Margaret School, Lehana (lee-anna) Simon – Antigua Girls High School, Kalique Samuel of Ottos Comprehensive and Camisha Francis of the All Saints Secondary School. Teen Splash 2013 takes place on July 30 at Carnival City.
