The Authorities Waste Little Time In Getting A Wanted Jamaican Fugitive Out Of The Country

A Jamaican who is wanted in his country for murder was put on a flight Thursday after Police arrested him here in Antigua this week.
Jermaine Gordon was handed over to detectives of the Jamaica Constabulary Force.
An Immigration enforcement officer and a member of the Rapid Response Unit travelled with him to Jamaica to ensure the fugitive was handed over safely.
Gordon was taken into custody during a joint intelligence-led operation in Cooks Hill involving the Narcotics Department and Rapid Response Unit.
He is among the most wanted in the Parish of Westmoreland in Jamaica.
Police say he has been hiding in Antigua since 2013; he reportedly has no travel documents and admitted to coming to Antigua by boat with other Jamaicans.
He is wanted in Jamaica in connection with two murders and a wounding incident.
