UWI DELEGATION VISITS MEETS PRIME MINISTER BROWNE

A delegation from the University of the West Indies met with Prime Minister Hon. Gaston Browne today.
Vice Chancellor Sir Hilary Beckles introduced the Prime Minister to some of the University’s senior management team.
The university management is on a two-day retreat in Antigua paving the way for the university campuses across the region.
The delegation was originally planning retreat in Montego Bay, Jamaica but decided on Antigua instead to become better acquainted with The Five Islands Campus.
Sir Hilary says the UWI was always looking for a strategy to provide greater access to tertiary education in the Eastern Caribbean.

The official opening of The Five Islands Campus is scheduled for tomorrow afternoon at 5, and as usual, ABS will have live coverage on all platforms.
