BOOST TO TECHNOLOGY SECTOR

Antigua and Barbuda’s information technology sector will receive a major boost thanks to a donation from the Bellevue Breakfast Rotary Club.
The equipment valued at an estimated XCD$400,000 will be used to bolster the network established in December to provide service to schools.
Luxmore Edwards, Director of Information Technology says the equipment will be used to pinpoint network errors and ensure optimal network performance.

Martinka says plans are also in place to provide training to primary school teachers on how they can best incorporate technology in the classrooms. More during the Evening News.
