NATIONAL SCHOOL MEALS ON PATH TO SELF SUFFICIENCY
Knowles says plans are in the pipeline to make the programme more self-sufficient.
This is in part due to the increased numbers as happens when students pass from primary to secondary schools but still request to remain on the programme.
She says grant funding will be sought to advance the effort toward self-sufficiency and sustainability.
The programme will also seek to raise its own funding.
Knowles says these activities will put the programme in a good position to show donors they’re able to sustain the programme.
