PORT MANAGER BREAKS SILENCE ON UNION AND STAFF BONUS REQUEST
Port Manager Darwin Telemaque says staff at the Port and their union need to be understanding of why bonuses can’t be paid his year.
He says the port operated in negative for eleven months this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic and there is no money to meet bonus payments.

Our Reporter Leon Norville did visit the Antigua and Barbuda’s Workers union this afternoon to talk to Deputy General Secretary Chester Hughes on the Union’s stance on the bonus saga.
He was engaged in a Union meeting with employees and was unable to comment at that time.
