BRITAINS PRINCE PHILIP LEAVES HOSPITAL

The 99 year old husband of Queen Elizabeth, Prince Philip, has today been discharged from hospital, after spending 28 days there.

On February 16th, Prince Philip was admitted as a precautionary measure, to King Edward VII Hospital, to treat an infection. He was later transferred to a cardiac care hospital, St Bartholomew’s, where he underwent a successful heart operation, for a pre existing heart condition.

Philip, who is set to celebrate his 100th birthday in June, is thought to be heading to Windsor Castle to be reunited with the Queen after a month without seeing her, but confirmation is still awaited from Buckingham Palace.
