PM BROWNE OPTIMISTIC ABOUT RECOVERY OF TOURISM BY SUMMER

The country could see an uptick in air and cruise tourism by mid- year.

That’s according to Prime Minister Hon. Gaston Browne.

He says with the US vaccinating 2.4 million people daily approximately 70 percent of its population should receive their first dose by mid April.

The country he says has to ready itself for the global increase in tourism traffic.

The nation’s leader says the country’s source markets the US, the UK and Canada should become active again as their population should be fully vaccinated by summer of this year.

Prime Minister Browne was speaking on his weekly radio programme.
