NO ADVERSE REACTIONS FROM VACCINES

With all eyes on the launch of phase two of the Covid-19 inoculation programme, the country has not recorded any adverse reactions to the vaccine.
That updated comes from Deputy Chairman of the National Technical Working Group on Covid-19 vaccines Dr. Courtney Lewis.

So far 27-thousand and thirty-two people have already received their first jab.

Dr. Lewis is also encouraging people who did not get their first jab in phase 1 of the inoculation programme to avail themselves in phase two. He shares the benefits of being fully vaccinated.

Dr. Lewis told Antigua Barbuda Today additional research is required to determine the need for booster shots following vaccination.
