ILLEGAL DUMPER CAUGHT

Meanwhile on the way to the illegal dump site this morning, the team was diverted by a call from a litter warden.
It led to the road off the Cook’s Landfill where another illegal dumping act was discovered.
A truck driver was instrumental in taking the vehicle’s number which he passed on to the litter warden.

Litter Control and Prevention Coordinator Dionne Gordon says the refuse was the carcass of a dog.
The offender, Russel Daniel was issued a Litter Removal Order which required that he pick up the waste right away.

Daniel offered his services to assist the team with cleaning at any time.
Gordon welcomes his volunteerism and warns residents it’s illegal to dump any form of waste and implores them to call 727-2467 or 562-1347
