STATE OF EMERGENCY EXTENSION LIKELY

A month before the state of emergency is due to expire, there is news that another extension is likely.
The update was provided by Minister for Information Hon Melford Nicholas during Friday’s post-cabinet media briefing.

Minister Nicholas cites the advice of Health Minister Sir Molwyn Joseph that although public health conditions are improving, there is no room for complacency.

He says the use of the curfew has been effective in controlling the spread of COVID-19 since February.
