CASHIER HOPES POLICE QUICKLY APPREHEND SUPERMARKET ROBBER

The cashier who a man robbed at gunpoint Saturday says she hopes police would catch the assailant and bring him to justice.
Lixia Cao (Lee-see-ah Chow) says the robber entered OK Supermarket at Church Street and Newgate Lane around 5:20 pm.
The Chinese national, who speaks limited English, says she complied with the assailant’s demands so he would not hurt her.

She says the man put all the day’s earnings in a red pouch before escaping

Police have intensified their investigations and the search for the robber.
