MORE THAN 20 MILLION VACCINES TO BE DONATED TO THE REGION

Vaccines donated by the United States have begun arriving in the Americas.
The Pan American Health Organisation says it helped to deliver 1.5 million doses of MRNA vaccines to Honduras.
This is part of the US Government’s commitment to sharing surplus doses with countries in the region.
PAHO Director, Dr Carissa Etienne expects the US to deliver more than 20 million doses to the region in coming days.
She insists COVID-19 vaccines are helping with the decrease in hospitalization numbers.
