EDUCATION DIRECTOR COMMENTS ON INFECTIONS IN SCHOOLS

Seventh Day Adventist education institutions and the St. Joseph’s Academy will revert to remote learning for the remainder of the week.

The Sunnyside Tutorial School says the entirety of its Grade 5 Scotland class as well as the class’ teacher will be quarantined for two weeks.

The decisions have been taken following the confirmation of COVID-19 infections.

Meanwhile, Director of Education Clare Browne says schools across the country are fully equipped to return to remote learning if the need arises.
