SIR RICHIE RICHARDSON AND ALSTON ‘BECKET’ CYRUS TO RECEIVE HONARARY UWI DOCTORATES SATURDAY

Two legends who will receive honorary doctorates from the University of the West Indies Five Islands Campus, have spoken with ABS News about their pride and delight with being honoured in this way.
Antiguan and Barbudan cricket doyen Sir Richie Richardson and Vincentian calypsonian great, Alston ‘Becket’ Cyrus were celebrated at a function on Thursday night, ahead of being conferred with the honorary degrees on Saturday.
