GOVERNMENT EXPLAINS REVERSAL OF DECISION TO ACCEPT WEST AFRICAN BOAT SURVIVORS

Information Minister the Hon. Melford Nicholas has explained why the Government will no longer accommodate the return of the West African survivors who left Antigua illegally via boat in March.
The Government initially said the migrants who were rescued and taken to St Kitts could return to Antigua once they were released.
However, the minister says that position has changed.
