POLICE COMMISSIONER LAUDS OFFICERS FOR THEIR RESOLUTE RESPONSE TO ARMED ROBBERY

Three robbery suspects were shot, one fatally, during a confrontation with the police in Ebenezer Thursday afternoon.

It was the culmination of a dramatic sequence of events which started with an armed robbery of a superette in Parham shortly after 1pm.

Preliminary investigations by police uncovered a modified flare gun and a hoodie thought to belong to one of the men along the road on Brown Hill, Ebenezer.

Police Commissioner Atlee Rodney tells ABS News the suspects were shot when they attacked the police.
