CHIEF OF DEFENCE STAFF PROMOTED TO THE RANK OF BRIGADIER

Chief of Defence Staff, Telbert Benjamin has been promoted to the rank of Brigadier.
The promotion follows the advice of the country’s Defence Board, chaired by Prime Minister Hon. Gaston Browne, and in accordance with the Defence Act.
While the rank of Colonel is the entry rank for holders of the post of Chief of Defence Staff, this promotion is deemed a fitting honour for the army man’s dedication and service.
