POLICE FIND NO EVIDENCE ATTORNEY WAS FIRED AT IN LIBERTA
Police say there is no evidence that attorney and political hopeful Wayne Benjamin Marsh was shot at in Liberta last Thursday evening.
Police were probing reports from Marsh that a shot was fired in his direction while standing in the area.
Marsh told ABS News he heard a sound which he assumed was from a small weapon and an object hit a wall behind him.
He said he then made a report to law enforcers.
However, a senior police officer told ABS News that officers went on the scene and carried out investigations, but found nothing to suggest a shot was fired in the area at the time mentioned by the attorney.
Marsh is interested in representing the United Progressive Party in the St Paul seat.
