TRIBUTES POUR IN FOLLOWING DEATH OF BERESFORD SAM

Stakeholders in the country’s maritime sector are mourning the death of chief pilot and marine manager at the Antigua Port Authority, Beresford Sam.

Sam passed away at Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre Thursday morning after a brief period of illness.

The late chief pilot served the port for some 40 years, ensuring the safe berthing of countless vessels.
