NO WORD YET FROM TRUMP ADMINISTRATION ON EMBASSY RECOMMENDED FOR A&B

Antigua and Barbuda’s ambassador to the United States, Sir Ronald Sanders says it is not clear at this time what approach the Trump administration will take regarding the recommendation for a US embassy to be re-established in the twin-island state.

He says the new administration has not yet engaged on the issue, and only time will tell how it will proceed, given the ongoing moves to slash the size of the federal government.

Sir Ronald spoke with ABS News exclusively from Washington, D.C.
