A&B RATIFIES TREATY ON CONSERVATION AND MARINE BIODIVERSITY

Prime Minister Hon. Gaston Browne insists his administration is a global leader on the frontlines of the climate change fight.

He made the comment as he moved a resolution in Parliament’s Lower House on Thursday, ratifying an agreement under the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea, UNCLOS.

The Treaty ensures the conservation and sustainable use of marine biodiversity of areas beyond national jurisdictions.
