The Governor General Joins in the Celebration of 25 Years of Cuba–Antigua and Barbuda Medical Collaboration

His Excellency Sir Rodney Williams, Governor General of Antigua and Barbuda, today joined other national leaders in a special celebration marking the 25th Anniversary of the Cuba–Antigua and Barbuda Medical Collaboration. The ceremony was held at the Parliament Building and featured the opening of a photographic exhibition honouring the Cuban Medical Brigade’s unwavering service to the twin-island nation.

In addition to the Governor General, other dignitaries in attendance included the Prime Minister the Honourable Gaston Browne, Minister of Health, Wellness and the Environment, The Honourable Sir Molwyn Joseph, Leader of the Opposition Honourable Jamale Pringle and Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba. His Excellency Sergio Martínez González.
