ACTING POLICE CHIEF HAILS GUN AMNESTY AS A SUCCESS
The Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda confirms seven firearms were turned over to law enforcers during the just-concluded gun amnesty.
Seven rounds of assorted ammunition were also handed over during the April 7 – 30 amnesty.
The weapons are a shotgun, a rifle, two revolvers, a pistol and two air rifles. Acting Police Commissioner Everton Jeffers praised the results of the initiative, as he addressed journalists at a news conference on Wednesday
