Sen. Massiah Behind Women in Power and Politics

Sen. Massiah is in full support of women being elevated to leadership and the political arena.

According to the All Saints East and St. Luke candidate, it was an historic occasion which brought pride to men and women when St. George’s elected Dr. the Hon. Jacqui Quinn Leandro to the lower house of parliament.

Sen. Massiah is of the view though that there is still a long way to go.

She adds it is important for voters to recognize this development, which she believes, will be better when the voices of more women are at the decision making table.
