POLICE URGE MOTORISTS TO BE VIGILANT AS CRASHES MOUNT

Law enforcers are warning motorists to exercise extreme caution on the nation’s streets during the festive season, as traffic collisions have been rising steadily since November.

Head of the police’s traffic department, Superintendent Elson Quammie, says as many as 14 collisions have been recorded on some days.

He attributes the spike to the increased volume of vehicles.
