HEALTH MINISTER ANNOUNCES IMMINENT ARRIVAL OF 120 NURSES

Health Minister Hon. Sir Molwyn Joseph says 120 nurses are to arrive in the island within weeks to boost staffing in the public healthcare system.

He says this is among changes on the horizon to address challenges at the emergency department at Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre.

Sir Molwyn was speaking during the Governor General’s annual visit to the hospital on Tuesday.
